Blade: The D2 tool steel blade is capable of some serious cutting with a slender, 3mm thick blade with a high flat grind for solid slicing performance. The blade maintains its thickness for most of the length before it tapers to a fine yet robust tip that delivers powerful piercing performance. It opens smoothly via the dual thumb studs riding on durable bronze washers. The blade is black stonewash finished for for a discreet and wear hiding look.
Handle: The clean, minimal lines of the smooth black G10 handles give the knife a stylish look while providing a secure and comfortable grip. D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
